From a child's first touch of a soccer ball to the highest levels of youth competition, East Bay United creates opportunities for players across Oakland and the East Bay to play, learn, develop, compete and belong.
East Bay United Soccer Club was formed in 2011 as a result of the merger between Bay Oaks and Rockridge Soccer clubs, with the goal of creating an integrated club that provides expanded opportunities for soccer players at all levels in the East Bay.
For decades, Rockridge Soccer Club offered the best in neighborhood recreational and mid-level competitive teams in the Oakland community. At the same time Bay Oaks had been one of the few premier soccer clubs in Northern California to achieve state-wide and national recognition while offering full programs for boys and girls teams, sending players to men’s and women’s collegiate, professional, and national teams.
