Mission

East Bay United Soccer Club promotes soccer as a healthy and enjoyable activity among children and young adults, regardless of race, color, religion or belief, sexual orientation, economic advantage or disability.

History

East Bay United Soccer Club was formed in 2011 as a result of the merger between Bay Oaks and Rockridge Soccer clubs, with the goal of creating an integrated club that provides expanded opportunities for soccer players at all levels in the East Bay.

For decades, Rockridge Soccer Club offered the best in neighborhood recreational and mid-level competitive teams in the Oakland community. At the same time Bay Oaks had been one of the few premier soccer clubs in Northern California to achieve state-wide and national recognition while offering full programs for boys and girls teams, sending players to men’s and women’s collegiate, professional, and national teams.

East Bay United’s competitive teams continue to play under the Bay Oaks name. Our recreational teams play under the EBU Rec name in the local Jack London Youth Soccer League.

All of our early childhood soccer programs for children in preschool through 2nd grade fall under the EBU Juniors program.
