  • With our Strong financial Aid Program, we are committed to never turning away a family for any financial reasons 
  • The financial aid process is highly confidential and open for all to apply 
  • Families are welcome to submit their application for financial aid at any point during the year
  • Please do not hesitate to apply, even if you are unsure about qualifying for Financial AID

Key factors that we use to qualify the applicant for financial aid:

  • Child’s eligibility for Free and Reduced-Price Meals at school
  • Child’s eligibility for Medi-Cal health coverage
  • Household income & significant assets
  • Number of children and dependents in household
  • Number of children already participating in EBU Soccer programs
  • Are you a returning family already receiving financial aid to participate in EBU Soccer programs?
  • Has your family volunteered in support of East Bay United Soccer Club in the past year?
  • Other special circumstances
  • We offer several levels of financial aid support, covering between 25% – 90% of the registration fee.

Since the Club incurs costs triggered by registration (e.g., administrative, equipment, staff, etc.) that increase over time, fees available for refund are based on the following schedule:

Bay Oaks (Competitive) A player’s acceptance to join a team has the effect of denying another player an opportunity to play on a competitive team, therefore, our club has a strict refund policy. And will follow the schedule below:-

  • Prior to June 1, 100% less $250.00 administrative fee-
  • From June 1 through July 31, 100% less $500.00 administrative fee- August 1 onwards, NO refund

NOTE: In the event that a player moves out of the area (greater than 50 miles), or has a season-ending injury before November 1, the Club would provide a refund of 25% of the registration paid pending record provided to the club by the player’s family.

EBU (Recreational) A player’s circumstances may change between registration in the spring and the start of the soccer season in the fall. The club may consider partial refund based on the following schedule:

  • Fall Season: 1. Prior to July 1, 100% less $100.00 administrative fee 2. From July 1 through September 30, 100% less $175.00 administrative fee 3. October 1 onwards, NO refund
  • Spring Season: 1. Prior to March 1, 100% less $100.00 administrative fee 2. From April 1 through September 30, 100% less $175.00 administrative fee 3. April 1 onwards, NO refund

NOTE: In the event that a player paid for the full year of program (Fall/Spring) and moves out of the area (greater than 50 miles), or has a season-ending injury before Mid October (Fall) or Mid April (Spring), the Club would provide a refund of 25% of the registration paid pending record provided to the club by the player’s family.

Camps, Futsal & Clinics:

  • Each registration for our camps, programs or clinics triggers expenses and logistics (Staffing, admin), therefore, no refunds, partial or full, will be made to players who choose not to participate at any point after registration for these programs 30 days prior to the start of the camps.
  • 50% refund could be issued if the request is made 30+ days prior the start of the camps or program.
