COMPETITIVE SOCCER PROGRAM
The 2020/21 Bay Oaks Season has been split into two registrations: one for June - December, and one for January - May 2021. All returning and new families must complete the Winter/Spring 2021 Registration using the link above. The registration fee for the Winter/Spring 2021 program is $950. All families have the option to break their registration payment into monthly installments. All payments must be received by the end of May 2021—this means that if you register before December 31st, you may break your registration into up to 6 monthly installments. Registrations completed between January 1 and January 31st may be split into up to 5 monthly installments.
Our commitment to financial aid, access and diversity is stronger than ever! Every season, East Bay United Soccer Club invests over $250,000 in our financial aid program to ensure that all children can participate, regardless of their financial background. Currently, more than a quarter of our families participate in our Financial Aid program and pay discounted registration fees for Bay Oaks. BAY OAKS REFUND POLICY
SPECIAL HIGH SCHOOL REFUND POLICY FOR WINTER/SPRING 2021
If a player/family chooses to withdraw from the 2021 Winter/Spring Bay Oaks program before March 15, 2021 in order to participate in school-based sports activities, they may request a 50% refund of their Winter/Spring 2021 registration fees.
In some cases, EBUSC may request written confirmation from the school/coach that a child is participating in the school-based sports activity.
Instead of a 50% refund, families will also have the option of accepting a credit for future registration, or declining/returning the refund as a tax-deductible contribution to East Bay United Soccer Club
Any player who plans to withdraw from spring for school sports iss encouraged to register for Bay Oaks Winter/Spring and continue training until March 15th, or until their school sports commitments require them to stop playing with Bay Oaks. Refunds will be processed/issued starting on March 16th.
GENERAL BAY OAKS REFUND POLICY
Bay Oaks registration payments are non-refundable, barring exceptional circumstances. Please email us here if you have a special circumstance.
EBU REC SOCCER PROGRAM
REC TEAM REGISTRATION FEE
There is a $50 Team Registration Fee to set up an EBU Rec team for the year. This fee covers your team from September 2020 through May 2021.
REC PLAYER REGISTRATION FEE
Registration for our modified Winter/Spring 2021 Rec Program is $75. All children need to register and pay for spring, even if they registered and played during Fall 2020 EBU Rec Program (returning teams do NOT need to pay again). Financial Aid is also available to families participating in our EBU Rec Program.
EBU JUNIORS SOCCER PROGRAM
Under normal circumstances, we offer three different EBU Juniors Programs: Soccer School Classes (PrK-2nd Grade); The Kindergarten 3v3 Program, and the 1st/2nd Grade 4v4 Program. These programs have been suspended due to COVID-19 since March 2020, and will reopen in early 2021. Please visit the EBU Juniors homepage for full details and timeline for the reopening of each program, beginning with Soccer School classes for 2nd graders in January 2021. Registration for each EBU Juniors Program is separate, and Financial Aid is available.
In 2021 we will be offering 2 weeks of soccer camp in April for our younger competitive and recreational players. One week of camp is included in the Winter/Spring 2021 Bay Oaks Registration. After completing the Bay Oaks Winter/Spring 2021 registration, families will receive a discount code that allows them to register for a week of camp in April without being charged. U10 and U12 rec players are encouraged to sign up for camp, and can do so using the links above. We will also be offering soccer camp all summer long—registration for summer camp will open on December 21st. Camp registrations are fully refundable in the event that camp is cancelled or rescheduled due to COVID-19 safety concerns/restrictions.
HELP WITH TEAMSNAP!
In some cases, we will provide families with a custom discount code to register for a program at a reduced rate. We use this for financial aid, free program registration for our employees, and other special circumstances. Please see the graphic below which shows where you should enter the discount code when registering on Teamsnap.
Discount codes are always case sensitive, and must be entered exactly as they were provided to you.
Teamsnap asks for the discount code at the beginning of the registration process; but when you proceed to the next screen, it will still look like you are being charged the full amount. Families often stop at that point, understandably confused. Please continue through the process—as long as you've entered the discount code correctly, the discount will be applied on the very last page of the registration before you are actually charged. If for any reason you are charged incorrectly, please contact us by email here.
Please do not use any discount code that was not directly pprovided to you by an EBUSC Employee (Registrar, your cchild's coach, Director of Coaching, a Coach, Executive Director, Financial Aid Committee, etc). Using or sharing a discount code without authorization is essentially taking important funding away from our community non-profit organization. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
