The Financial Aid Application for the 2020/21 season will become available on August 1, 2020. Until then, we are allowing any family to register with reduced deposit payment ($50 instead of $200). Please email us here to request a discount code for the reduced deposit payment. We ask that families only request this discounted deposit if they need it. Thank you!

East Bay United Soccer club has a strong financial aid program and is committed to assisting every child who wants to play soccer. Our goal is to never have to turn a family away for financial reasons.

We have a need-blind tryout process, which means your situation/application is confidential, and will not affect whether or not your child is offered a spot on a Bay Oaks team.

If you are unsure whether or not you qualify for financial aid, you are still welcome to apply. We appreciate that there are many circumstances that can affect a family’s overall financial situation and ability to cover registration cost on their own. Families are welcome to submit an application for financial aid at any point during the year.

Some of the factors that we use to make decisions about financial aid awards include:

  • Child’s eligibility for Free and Reduced-Price Meals at school

  • Child’s eligibility for Medi-Cal health coverage

  • Household income & significant assets

  • Number of children and dependents in household

  • Number of children already participating in EBU Soccer programs

  • Are you a returning family already receiving financial aid to participate in EBU Soccer programs?

  • Has your family volunteered in support of East Bay United Soccer Club in the past year?

  • Other special circumstances

We offer several levels of financial aid support, covering between 25% – 90% of the registration fee. We also offer monthly payment plans.
