ABOUT US

East Bay United is one of the premier soccer clubs in Northern California. Serving more than 2,500 players, the club provides excellent soccer experiences for children at all levels of the game.  We offer recreational, competitive and elite teams, early childhood soccer programs, and camps and clinics all year round.

Based in Oakland, California, the club represents a thriving and diverse soccer community. We are committed to supporting East Bay families, and to developing players and coaches from all different backgrounds, on and off the field.

HISTORY

The East Bay United Soccer Club was formed in 2011 as a result of the merger between the Bay Oaks and Rockridge Soccer clubs, with the goal of creating an integrated club that provides expanded opportunities for soccer players at all levels in the East Bay. For decades, the Rockridge Soccer Club offered the best in neighborhood recreational and mid-level competitive teams in the central East Bay community.  At the same time Bay Oaks had been one of the few premier soccer clubs in Northern California to achieve statewide and national recognition while offering full programs of boys and girls teams – sending players to all levels of men’s and women’s collegiate, professional, and US national teams.

East Bay United’s competitive teams continue to play under the Bay Oaks name. Our recreational teams play under the EBU Rec name in the local Jack London Youth Soccer League. All of our early childhood soccer programs for children in preschool through 2nd grade fall under the EBU Juniors program.
